Iain Finnigan LMT

Iain specializes in treatment-oriented massage therapy, combining integrated manual therapy techniques with focused deep tissue work to address and release tension patterns held in the body. He has been a full-time practicing licensed massage therapist since 2010, and treats a wide range of musculoskelatal conditions through his practice, including back and neck pain, sciatica, tension headaches, migraines, whiplash, shoulder pain, upper cross syndrome, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, low back and SI joint dysfunction, and more.

Iain takes a holistic, whole body approach to understanding and addressing the underlying tension patterns in the body that lead to pain and dysfunction. Often, pain and tension in the muscles and other soft tissues are the end result of a series of compensations the body is utilizing in response to structural, postural, or physiological dysfunctions. These dysfunctions can be caused by a combination of factors including soft tissue injury, poor posture, improper body mechanics, dehydration, sedentary lifestyle, lack of flexibility, and stress. Iain's approach is to work with each client, respecting the body's innate intelligence and ability to heal itself, and through addressing the root causes of pain and tension help facilitate increased mobility and improved functioning.

Client Feedback

If you struggle with chronic pain due to fibromyalgia, lymphedema, Dyputrens’ contracture, advanced osteoarthritis, and/or carpal tunnel syndrome, I’d highly recommend visiting Iain Finnigan at Spokane Massage. Iain is professional, courteous, kind, and highly skilled technically and artistically. In addition to deep tissue massage, Iain is skilled at encouraging a sluggish lymphatic system, breaking up adhesions, and coaxing knotted muscle to relax.. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Iain Finnigan is the Yoda of massage therapy. I have suffered from chronic migraines, neck & lower back pain for yrs & since I started seeing Iain in 2012 my symptoms are less frequent & less severe. He has a natural ability to know what your body needs & is able to relieve spots of tension & discomfort w/very little repercussion from your body. It is unlike any other massage I used to have (where the next day I could be sore or stiff); Iain provides therapy & I am profoundly grateful to have crossed paths with him. I feel better! THANKS!!

We truly appreciate the fantastic service and professional and effective treatments that we (me and hubby) receive at Spokane Massage. I have ACM, Chiari Malformation, and the cranial sacral treatment that I receive from Iain Finnigan helps me cope with this horrible condition. Thank you Spokane Massage!

Fantastic massage/Reiki session. I would strongly recommend Iain for a session to anyone. I have personally never used Reiki in a massage session before, but I would certainly combine the two therapies again. Wonderful skilled therapist and session! Give him a try you will not regret your decision.

I received a deep tissue massage from Iain. I’ve always had Swedish massage instead of deep tissue because I was afraid that it might be painful, but this was the best massage I have ever received! There was no pain, just steady, deep pressure. Iain was very professional and respectful. He made me feel comfortable and asked for feedback during so that I was getting what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Spokane Massage to any friend looking for muscle tension relief!
